Dear AMA Community,

This is a profoundly challenging time for many of us, and we are here wishing you good health and safety. We are also standing in solidarity with those calling  for a more equitable, just, and free future for black, indigenous, and people of color in the US, the Americas, and worldwide. This is a brief newsletter announcing a few upcoming activities and opportunities. In addition to the (short notice) teleconference ID'd above, here are  a few upcoming events and opportunities:

1.  Webinar,  5 June 2020: Decisiones basados en datos: Cómo la digitalización de tus cultivos es fundamental para la toma de decisiones de la empresa.

2.  Funding  Solicitation: Robert Wood Johnson Foundation solicits proposals on a rolling basis related to health equity, but with "Future of Food" as one thematic focus. Average award = ~$300k. International collaboration encouraged, but lead institute  must be in US.

3.  GEO  Working Group on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion seeks nominations, particularly from South America and Asia. Email nominations to pgeddes@geosec.org
